IDF Captures Beaufort Castle for First Time in 26 Years as Lebanon Operation Expands

Image
By Lilach Shoval The campaign in Lebanon is escalating:  The Israel Defense Forces announced Sunday that it had launched a broad operation in southern Lebanon, including ground activity on the Beaufort ridge and in Wadi Saluki, alongside extensive airstrikes. As part of the operation, the forces crossed the Litani River and are working to strike Hezbollah infrastructure built in the area. The operation involves forces from the Golani Brigade, Givati Brigade, 7th Brigade, Fire Brigade and the Multidimensional Unit, operating under the 36th Division and with guidance from the Intelligence Directorate. The operation was approved by the IDF chief of staff, and after preliminary operational preparations, including extensive airstrikes, the forces began offensive activity to expand the forward defensive line. According to the IDF, the main operation is focused on gaining control of the Beaufort ridge and the Wadi Saluki area, which in recent years were considered major Hezb...

New Report: Iran President Pezeshkian Steps Down Citing Total IRGC Control

Image
By Ward Clark Signs and portents of Iran's leadership coming apart? Maybe. A report on Sunday from the Jerusalem Post claims that Iran's president, Masoud Pezeshkian, has tendered his resignation to the supposedly still above-ground Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. If this is true, it could be a sign that Iran's civil government is coming apart at the seams .  Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian sent a letter to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei 's office submitting his resignation, London-based anti-regime outlet Iran International reported on Sunday. An anonymous official told Iran International that the letter had called out the fact that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had effectively taken over large portions of the government, and that the president and other high-ranking officials had been cut out of vital decision-making. Pezeshkian, the letter emphasized, was unable to run the government or fulfill his responsibilities under the circumstances, and as ...

Inside Trump’s Massive New Secure East Wing Modernization Project

Image
By Ward Clark Saturday, President Trump gave his daughter-in-law, Fox News personality Lara Trump, a walk around the White House and described some of the features of the East Wing remodeling that's underway; this includes the new White House ballroom.  First, the president describes the East Wing's planned new structure, including a glass tunnel . . @POTUS shows @LaraLeaTrump where the glass tunnel to the future East Wing will stand upon completion: "It's a gift from me and from great patriots... it's the most secure facility ever built, and obviously with the way the world is now, that's very important." pic.twitter.com/nxVqrTWPCy — Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) May 31, 2026 Here's that conversation: President Trump: This will be the entrance into the ballroom. The ballroom will be right here. This is a glass, beautiful glass tunnel. Beautiful tunnel that goes right into the ballroom, ballroom's right there. Pretty good, right? Lar...

Ex-Dem Mayor Pleads Guilty to Secretly Working for China, Spreading Beijing Propaganda

Image
By Sierra Marlee Eileen Li Wang, the former mayor of Arcadia, California, has pleaded guilty to acting as a foreign agent. Earlier this month, Wang was charged in federal court with “acting as an illegal agent of the People’s Republic of China (PRC)” according to a  Department of Justice  press release. On Friday, he formally pleaded guilty to the charge, which comes with a “statutory maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.” A former mayor pleaded guilty Friday to acting as an illegal agent of the Chinese government. New York Times Is Late to the Masculinity Crisis

Image
(Getty) By Itxu Díaz My most loyal readers already know that, as penance for my many sins, I occasionally read The New York Times . It’s painful because its opinion section is home to some of the most spectacularly misguided people I’ve ever encountered. It’s very rare for someone to be wrong about everything. I’m a walking mistake myself, so I know what I’m talking about. But there are columnists there who are always wrong about everything. It’s a real talent. I imagine it takes a lifetime of work: going to a bad school, attending a sufficiently stupid university, listening to unbelievably idiotic radio hosts, and carefully selecting the dumbest and most sinister reading material imaginable. And finally, believing all of it. My admiration goes out to anyone capable of achieving something like that. The intellectual drift of the postmodern left resembles one long LSD trip. Now the Times has discovered that masculinity is in crisis, that the “new masculinity” was a scam, and the...

The Death of Conviction: How Europe’s Weak Christianity Invites Islamic Dominion

Image
By Krisztina Maria Understand this. Europe is not losing its soul because Islam is strong. Europe is losing its soul because Christians have become embarrassed by their own faith. The real problem is that we have turned Christianity into a museum. Something you visit at Christmas and funerals. Something you “respect historically” without actually believing it. Something you are expected to apologize for - or be shamed for - if you take it seriously. The result? A cultural vacuum. And nature - and history - hate a vacuum. Islam: A Complete System Islam is not primarily strong theologically. Islam is strong because it is a complete system - law, politics, social order and religion in one. There is no separation. Sharia does not just regulate the relationship with God. It regulates contracts, marriage, punishment, governance, war and peace. Islam is a civilization with its own rules for everything. It is not a private faith. It is a political project. And Muslims own it....

Watch: Media Split Screen Just Crushes It on NJ Situation As Mikie Sherrill Spins Like a Top

Image
By Sister Toldjah We've written extensively about the out-of-control "protesting" that has been happening outside of the Delaney Hall Detention Facility in Newark, New Jersey, with leftist agitators pulling out all the stops to try to stop immigration enforcement agents from doing their jobs in keeping American communities safe from criminal illegal aliens. There have been attempted blockades of the agents at the facility, where the criminal illegals are processed for deportation. There has also been violence, along with despicable threats, with one "peaceful protester" caught on tape threatening the lives of an ICE agent and the agent's entire family. The rioter proclaimed that he had seen an agent's face, and that he would "kill your whole f**king family." Fortunately, according to Acting DOJ Attorney General Todd Blanche, the agitator has been arrested. But as history has shown us, this will not stop The Usual Suspects from trying to i...

Hot Takes: Hillary Clinton Decimated by Backlash After Attacking Trump White House Construction

Image
By Nick Arama We reported earlier on Saturday on Jill Biden's remarks about Hunter's pardon, and they truly did beggar belief as she tried to blame President Donald Trump for Joe Biden going back on his word not to pardon his son. Indeed, she claimed he had to do it because they were fearful Hunter would be targeted by Trump. That took some kind of gall, after the lawfare efforts against Trump for years. Jill also got a lot of backlash for saying she had never seen anything like Joe's confusion during the debate before or since, claiming she thought he was having a stroke or medical issue. That's hard to believe, since we wrote frequently about his confusion. Yet, she still wanted him to run again - what kind of person thinks that way?  But even with Jill Biden seemingly trying hard for the crown of "worst First Lady," Hillary Clinton apparently wanted to remind people that she was still around and in contention. On Friday, she posted this on X. This is wh...

As Trump Hits the Brakes, Hezbollah Pushes the Limits

Image
By Yoav Israel and Hezbollah escalated the war over the weekend, expanding the combat zone north of the Litani River on the Lebanese side and south of the confrontation line on the Israeli side. Israel has in fact been operating north of the Litani for some time, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave that a deliberate and public expression during a visit Friday to the headquarters of the 36th Division, which is maneuvering in Lebanon. Netanyahu, who is facing severe public criticism because he has complied with US President Donald Trump's demand and has not allowed the Israel Defense Forces full freedom of action in Lebanon, said, "Our forces crossed the Litani." In doing so, Netanyahu may have implicitly confirmed what has been reported in Lebanon in recent days about intense IDF activity in the Beaufort sector, which is considered a strategic Hezbollah stronghold. Illegal Alien Former Superintendent Caught with Gun Sentenced to Two Years, Will be Deported

Image
By Sierra Marlee Ian Andre Roberts, an illegal alien who had been posing as a school superintendent, has been sentenced after pleading guilty. Roberts, from Guyana, was working as the Des Moines Public Schools superintendent at the time he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in 2025. When he was arrested, he was “in possession of an illegal handgun, a hunting knife, and nearly $3,000 in cash,” former DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a social media post at the time. Florida Deputy Accuses Driver of 'Holding a Phone' with Her 'Right Hand.' But There's a Big Problem.

Image
By DAVE URBANSKI A Florida sheriff's deputy a few months back pulled over a driver and proceeded to tell her that she was "holding a phone" with her "right hand," which would be a violation of the state's wireless communications while driving law. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy told the woman during the Feb. 11 stop in Lake Worth Beach that "we're doing an operation for distracted driving, and you drove past me holding a phone with your right hand," according to bodycam video of the traffic stop. But there was a big problem with that accusation. The driver quickly lifted up her right arm and showed the deputy that she has no right hand. In fact, it appears most of her right forearm is missing too. The motorist laughed and told the deputy, "So, obviously not!" The woman then asked the deputy, "So, you wanna just call this a day, or ...?" But the deputy persisted: "I don't want to call it...

Swatting Incident At Justice Barrett’s Home Is Another ‘Hit’ From Schumer’s ‘Whirlwind’

Image
By M. D. Kittle The dangerous ‘swatting’ attack is the most recent in a surge in leftist-led political violence in the Trump era. Conservative members of the nation’s highest court continue to reap the bitter harvest of political violence that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer sowed more than six years ago.  The latest in a series of serious threats to the justices’ safety reportedly occurred Wednesday evening — a reported “swatting” incident at the home of Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett .  “Police responded to a call for the sound of gunshots at the home of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett last night, but quickly realized it was a swatting call and cleared after meeting with her security detail,” freelance photographer Andrew Leyden first reported on X Thursday morning. Leyden included in the post what he described as “partial police audio” of the emergency call to police to respond to the justice’s home.  Fairfax County, Virginia, polic...
