Something Big is Coming

Image
Skip to Comments By Clarice Feldman Dilbert creator Scott Adams tweeted this week: ”The country’s energy is strange. Everything is amped up in every direction. Something big is coming.” He’s rarely wrong about such things. Adams said he doesn’t know what that something big is, but I’m hoping it is a major shift in America’s political tectonic plates. I may be looking too hard for it, but I, too, feel it in my bones. Infrastructure Faceplant For one thing the wacky spending program the Democrats were proposing and fiddling with seems to have hit the shoals, trapped between the far left and the more moderate senators Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin. Even the  leftward Politico  cannot spackle over the dilemma, a dilemma that is the only thing preventing Democrats from turning our constitutional republic into a totalitarian socialist economic mess in which only the most authoritarian and corrupt rule over a greatly impoverished citizenry. What Does This Have to Do with Chips? Doritos Ad Features Man Who Died and Found a Gay Lover in Heaven

Skip to Comments By Isa Cox It’s high time that conservatives start waking up to the role that corporations have played in the moral degradation of the Western world. The countries that used to be governed with a collective sense of Judeo-Christian values have long been under attack by an aggressive secularism that, far from simply seeking to divorce the culture from religion, has replaced our longstanding traditions with a new cult of progressivism. Corporations that we innocently believe just want to sell us products have become intent on joining in the effort to demote biblical values in the mainstream, and they’ve been alarmingly successful. Just this week, Twix sponsored a Halloween ad featuring a little boy in a princess dress who is protected from the scorn of a playground bully by his witch-like nanny, who sends the intolerant older boy flying off into the distance in an apparent act of dark magic. The ad, which quickly went viral on social media, has seemingly not

Southwest Pilot Triggers Outrage with ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Sign-Off, Then The Hidden Meaning Behind It Comes Out

Image
Skip to Comments By Kyle Becker A Southwest Airlines pilot on his way from Houston to Albuquerque on Friday had a special message for the passengers as he signed off his flight: “Let’s Go Brandon!” The provocative sign-off was reported on Friday morning by Politico’s White House Bureau Chief Jon Lemire: "On Friday morning on a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque, the pilot signed off his greeting over the public address system with the phrase, to audible gasps from some passengers." https://t.co/0KlzkTWSch — Jonathan Lemire (@JonLemire) October 30, 2021 “On Friday morning on a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque, the pilot signed off his greeting over the public address system with the phrase, to audible gasps from some passengers,” Lemire reported, with doubtless embellishment for effect. There was subsequent breathless media commentary by such pundits as Brian Tyler Cohen. On a ⁦Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque, the pilot signed

Hillary Clinton Dresses Up As President For Halloween

Image
Skip to Comments CHAPPAQUA, NY—According to sources, former First Lady and skilled assassin Hillary Clinton is joining the Halloween festivities this year by dressing up as a real live president.  "I really wanted to show little girls everywhere that if you believe in yourself and kill a lot of people, you can be president of the United States someday," she said, "...just like I was. I was the rightful president. I WAS THE RIGHTFUL PRESIDENT!" She then screamed and threw an open bottle of wine against the wall and made her servants pick it up. Hillary will be wearing a realistic president costume and sitting behind a handmade replica of the resolute desk to complete the look. "This is where I sign my executive orders to bail out banks and drone strike brown people in the Middle East," she said proudly as she signed imaginary papers on her desk. "You may address me as Madam President. Happy Halloween!" Sources say that Bill Clinton will a

The Hard Data On Gun Owners & Sexual Disfunction Is In

Image
Skip to Comments By Cam Edwards The anti-gun crowd loves to try to taunt gun owners by claiming the  real  reason they own a piece of cold steel is to make up for the limp noodle in their pants. If you’re a guy who owns guns, it simply  must  mean you’re personally toting a small caliber pocket pistol, or you’re not “manly” enough to rise to the occasion without the help of a little blue pill. It’s not meant to be a serious argument, of course. But that didn’t stop researchers in Texas from taking a long, hard look  at the data , and the results are so satisfying to gun owners you may need to smoke a cigarette after you read them. “Our gun research has focused on testing the taken-for-granted claims of gun culture,” said lead researcher  Terrence D. Hill , an associate sociology professor at The University of Texas at San Antonio. “Are gun owners  especially fearful ? Do guns help people to  sleep better  at night? Do guns  make people happier ? Do guns enhance  s

Almost no one shows up to Hunter Biden's vaunted SoHo art exhibit

Image
Skip to Comments By James Anthony Hunter Biden's art show at the storied Georges Berges art gallery in Manhattan's SoHo district drew very low crowds this week, with few visitors showing up and even fewer willing to give their names to the press. A handful of artists and industry professionals appeared at the Georges Berges Gallery for private viewings to see the work by President Joe Biden's controversial son. A security guard stood outside the West Broadway venue, allowing only attendees with invitations to enter the exclusive exhibit. Several visitors refused to give their names, and some even offered fake monikers, when questioned by the  New York Post . "It's unfortunate that a father or mother can't see his work, but it's the times we live in and it'll become a distraction," Georges Berges, the owner of the SoHo gallery,  told   Artnet News , referring to the absence of Hunter Biden's parents.. According to the  New Yo
