Rubio Follows Through After Iranian Diplomats Ignore Order to Leave

Two members of Iran’s delegation to the United Nations General Assembly were
“kicked out” of the U.S. after failing to comply with a State Department
order to leave the country.
“Secretary Rubio means business. Two more members of the Iranian delegation
were found still in New York long after the UN General Assembly had passed.
They have now been kicked out of the country,” a U.S. official told Fox News
Digital.
The State Department ordered Iran’s entire delegation to leave the U.S.
immediately on Monday, but the two diplomats remained in New York, according
to an Axios report.
Iran’s mission to the U.N. was told Friday that the U.S. was aware the
diplomats had not left and was again instructed that they needed to depart
immediately, Axios reported. One diplomat left Friday night and the other
Saturday morning, according to the outlet.
