Trudeau Gets Mocked for Cringeworthy Dance With a Toilet Plunger

By Nick Arama

Justin Trudeau was a horrible prime minister for Canada.

He was finally forced to face the fact that people had had enough of him, and he resigned in January 2025, after years of driving Canada further left and running it into the ground. He had 21.5 percent approval when he left; that's stinkier than Limburger.

X owner Elon Musk summed him up with the perfect clip that included words from his resignation speech.

Then, after Trudeau left office, he took up with singer Katy Perry in July 2025 and has seemed focused on acting like a celebrity.

In the months to follow, there were sightings galore. The pair was spotted kissing on Perry’s yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, Calif. And they jetted to Paris for her 41st birthday. They lounged on a boat in Mykonos and got scantily clad in Saint-Tropez. They go on ski trips and post cutesy selfies. They’re addicted to being seen.

But Trudeau has been getting a lot of attention for a video this past week that hit maximum cringe.

The 54-year-old was the leader of Canada for 10 years, but here's what he has now been reduced to: making a fool of himself dancing like a teenager with Perry in a Montreal hardware store, wielding a plunger. I'm not sure what you would call this dance. Maybe the Plunger Prance?

“In the Home Hardware on St-Laurent St,” Trudeau said as he showed off his best dad moves, kicking up his heels and swaying his hips as he waved the plunger around like a band leader’s baton, singing along with the lyrics [....]

They just popped in randomly by themselves with one security guard who stood in the front,” Kevin Periera, who works at the shop, told the Montreal Gazette.

“They went about their shopping (and) spent about 45 minutes here.”

The cringe is so typical of Trudeau and liberals in general. There's always a performance — that doesn't deliver much.

Trudeau split up with his wife of 18 years in 2023. The song Trudeau was dancing to with Perry was one by his son, Xavier Trudeau.

People thought the plunger was perfect to describe what he'd done to Canada.

It's great for Canada that Justin Trudeau is finally gone. Unfortunately, they still have Prime Minister Mark Carney, who is also awful and can't seem to get his act together when it comes to tariffs or anything else.

Carney still hasn't learned from the failure that Trudeau left.
