President Trump confirms report of meeting with Ron DeSantis, says they will work closely to 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN'

On Monday, Donald Trump confirmed that he had, in fact, met with Ron DeSantis in Florida over the weekend, and that the governor had offered his "full and enthusiastic support."

The former president said that together, he and his former GOP primary rival would "make America great again."


"I am very happy to have the full and enthusiastic support of Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida," Trump wrote, putting an end to speculation. "We had a great meeting yesterday, arranged by mutual friend Steve Witkoff, at his beautiful Shell Bay Club in Hollywood, Florida."

He explained that the conversation "mostly concerned how we would work closely together to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," but that they also discussed "the future of Florida," which he referred to as "FANTASTIC!"

"I greatly appreciate Ron's support in taking back our Country from the Worst President in the History of the United States," Trump added. "November 5th is a BIG DAY!!!"
