It Must Be Election Time: Biden Finally Says Going to East Palestine, and He's Getting Called Out for It
How do you know that it's election time?
Joe Biden is finally doing something about the border crisis. Not anything substantive to fix the issues, mind you, not that. He claims he doesn't have the power to do that. He's trying to shift the blame for the problem he created and has denied for three years until this month, to the Republicans, now that the election is upon us and his handlers realize it's an important issue to the American people.
But he's also discovered something else with election time. He's discovered how important Ohio is and how he's losing in the polls to former President Donald Trump there, with the last RCP average having him up by 10 points.
So now, we're finally hearing Joe Biden make an announcement about getting around to going to East Palestine, Ohio to visit the residents there. February 3 would be a year since the train derailment there and concerns about any environmental damage to the area and illnesses.
As Fox's Peter Doocy explains despite all the trips to Delaware and even to St. Croix, that they were told going to Ohio was just "too much."
Does he know he’s going to Ohio and not the Middle East?

East Palestine, OH Business Owner: "... The leader of our country did not show up to the greatest catastrophe of 2023. And now, he's going to show up because it's an election year... the polls show President Trump came and supported us when he didn't have to." pic.twitter.com/TkxTKeSPw0

On September 5, Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about Biden saying, "He just hasn't been able to break." At that point, Biden was on yet another vacation to Lake Tahoe. Fox indicated that the Mayor of the city probably wouldn't be receptive and they had a resident who was saying that it's because it's an election year.
So it sounds like the residents there are hip to Biden's late efforts. Could there be any more blatant pandering? But I'm thinking it's not going to go over well, he's likely to face a lot of anger. That's not going to be a good campaign look for him.
Former President Donald Trump went there with supplies of water, which was one of the big concerns of the people, about 20 days after the derailment happened. He didn't wait around until the election was upon us, like Biden.
Tens of thousands of pounds of goods, food, water being delivered to the people of East Palestine, Ohio right now before Trump’s visit.

Trump paid for all of it.

They don’t want him.

I grew up 20 minutes from East Palestine in small blue- collar village. My parents still live there.
These people are working class. Many living in poverty.
Biden doesn’t care about them or their health. And they know it.
Original HereJoe Biden refused to stand with the patriots of East Palestine when it really mattered. He could have united our country by showing support to a right leaning community, but instead he ignored them.

Now a year later, he's showing up for a photo op to help his failing campaign.
