Hamas Leadership Just Pulled the Rug Out From Under the 'Ceasefire Now' Clowns

By Bonchie

In a blow to the "ceasefire now" crowd, including clownishly antisemitic politicians like Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Hamas leadership has let it be known that they don't want a ceasefire.

The first indication of that came on Thursday when Hamas carried out a terrorist attack in Jerusalem, leaving three dead and dozens injured. If that wasn't clear enough, though, Hamas' leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar let it be known on the same day that the October 7th attacks were just a rehearsal.

Who could have possibly foreseen this? Well, your favorite political commentator did provide this warning a month ago.

Hamas, which is the governing authority in Gaza, has no interest in the two-state solution being bandied about by clownish Western politicians. They are not going to suddenly disengage and act like human beings if Israel takes down the border fencing and extends a hand of peace. Instead, they would simply use that as an opportunity to kill more Jews because, and stick with me here, they just want to kill Jews.

American college campuses and newsrooms, among other places, are filled with naive imbeciles who believe that all cultures are the same and ultimately want the same things. They simply can't fathom anyone could think differently than they do. No matter how much evidence emerges, they refuse to believe that Gazans don't want a secular state, living in peace with their Jewish neighbors. Rather than living in reality, they project their own desires onto a group of people who do not share them.

This isn't complicated. Hamas just wants to kill Jews and wipe Israel off the map. There isn't a more complicated geopolitical explanation for their barbarism. No matter how many times Tlaib and other Democrat politicians pretend the majority of Palestinians want to simply live in peace with a single or two-state solution, the truth remains that most of them just really hate Jews and see it as their life's mission to kill them.

Are there some in Gaza and the West Bank, particularly those in the older generations, that would accept a peaceful arrangement? Sure, but according to post-October 7th polling, they are a small minority, with 75 percent of the population supporting the massacre and wanting more attacks.

There isn't a peaceful solution to be found with Hamas, and those living in the relative safety of the West calling for a "ceasefire" are simply calling for the continuation of Hamas' terrorist campaign. I wish that wasn't the reality on the ground, but it is. They are not going to stop, and they keep telling everyone they are not going to stop. That means Hamas must be destroyed.

Whatever concessions Israel should or shouldn't make after that point can be discussed down the road. As long as Hamas exists, though, no deal can be made. Tlaib and her cohorts can cry for the cameras, but all the death and destruction going on right now is solely the responsibility of the terrorists they support.

At this point, given Hamas just broke the last one, another ceasefire is untenable. It should be full steam ahead of the IDF.
