Camp Lejeune water contamination health issues

One of our good buddies Cammo99 relayed this story to me this morning, and I'm sharing it here with all of you....

Yesterday I assisted someone who's pick up truck broke down in a remote wilderness area it. took about 3 hours to sort it  out.  The owner was a Vietnam Vet with Parkinson's, and his care worker, while we were talking he mentioned he receives a disability now because the VA recognizes that tainted water at Camp Lejeune (He's 86) is a contributing factor to his ailment. 

My neighbors daughter was having trouble contacting the VA, her father has Parkinson's and served at Camp Lejeune in the designated period. The way she was stating his veterans status was an issue because her dad did not serve on Title 10 papers and that affects your VA status but because this is a state side issue it should not matter it should only be a matter if one served at Camp Lejeune during the period the water was tainted and the VA is giving disabilities for.

If they served at Camp Lejeune 1953-1987.
