Breaking: Explosion Outside 26 Federal Plaza in NYC

There was an explosion outside of 26 Federal Plaza in New York City Monday morning. That building houses dozens of agencies, including the FBI, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. 

FBI statement to @FoxNews:

"This morning an individual deployed an incendiary device outside of 26 Federal Plaza. The individual has been taken into custody and the FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the incident."

FBI Statement to Fox News:

"This morning an individual deployed an incendiary device outside of 26 Federal Plaza. The individual has been taken into custody and the FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the incident."

NYPD tells FOX there was a "found firearm" in relation to this event, but couldn't confirm if it was found on the suspect.

CBS said preliminary information indicated it was "fireworks placed in a garbage can," and the Fire Department was able to put out the flames. It is believed that no shots were fired.
