The Party of Violence: Extremist Michigan Congresswoman Screeches About Punishment of Antifa Shooter

Democrats are proving daily that they have now become the Party of Violence.

They celebrate Charlie Kirk’s murder. They fangirl over (alleged) assassin Luigi Mangione. They fundraise for Karmelo Anthony, who stabbed and killed a high-school football player over a minor dispute.

On Tuesday, far-left “Squad” member Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) came to the defense of a domestic terrorist who shot a law enforcement agent in the neck. Justice came swiftly, and he was sentenced to 100 years in the slammer.

It’s not that an Antifa thug tried to murder an officer that’s the problem, Tlaib wrote on X, it’s that Donald Trump is the devil incarnate and labeling terrorists for what they are — terrorists — is oh so wrong.

Profanity alert, because Dems can’t seem to say anything these days without resorting to expletives:

These sentences are a travesty and totally unjustified, but that's the point. Americans hate the fascist Trump regime, so the only way they can try to cling to power is brute force. NSPM-7 is a grave threat to all of us and more bulls*** "terrorism" charges like these are coming.

NSPM‑7, or National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, is a domestic‑security directive Trump signed in September 2025 that treats political violence like assassinations, assassination attempts, and attacks on ICE facilities as part of “organized campaigns” and not simply isolated incidents. It also directs federal law enforcement to investigate not just individual crimes, but the networks, organizations and funding behind them.

Oh, the horror.

Tlaib was predictably roasted on social media for her toxic take. Journalist Andy Ngo, who has covered Antifa extensively and has been attacked by their goons on several occasions, slammed the poisonous congresswoman:

They were proven at court to be part of a terrorist Antifa cell that trained for and planned violence using firearms. They used large explosives to lure out federal agents and police before shooting one in the neck. The trial featured key testimonies from five cell members who flipped, detailing how they organized behind the antifa ideology.

Congresswoman, I know you must be very upset that these terrorists you are sympathetic to didn’t get away with it this time. You’d have wanted them to succeed in killing police and American citizens.

Townhall’s Kurt Schlichter had something to say:

RedState’s own streiff, who wrote Tuesday’s story “Antifa Terrorist Gang Gets Nearly a Half Millennium in Prison for ICE Facility Attack,” was also unamused:

When you are celebrating (alleged) cold-blooded murderers like Mangione, laughing over the tragic killing of Charlie Kirk, wishing for the president to get “86’d,” and apologizing for would-be cop killers, you know you have lost the plot and crossed over into the dark side. The dark side being essentially: evil.

I won’t say that all Democrats and leftists are advocates of political violence, but for far too many, they’ve become the Party of Violence and Bloodshed. It’s a dangerous thing for America.

The answer: prosecute the hell out of domestic terrorists. Give them 100-year sentences. Throw away the key. Rinse. Repeat.
