Breaking: Trump Nominates Seasoned LEO and Marine Veteran As New ICE Director

On Saturday afternoon, President Trump shared on Truth Social that he has nominated a seasoned law enforcement and Marine veteran as the administration's new ICE director, and he urged the U.S. Senate to confirm him "immediately" for the role:

As RedState previously wrote, Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons submitted his resignation in April, with his departure from the position expected on June 1. In the meantime, David Venturella, an ICE senior advisor recruited by Border Czar Tom Homan took over as acting director.
