My Thoughts and Rebuttal to the Article From LH Gray
My friends,
For those of you who read my comment in REVEILLE today, here is my response to what LHGrey wrote on 𝕏....
My Rebuttal to This Post
I recently came across a lengthy post by LHGrey (@grey4626), who openly identifies as an atheistic Luciferian. In it, she rejects core Christian doctrines, mocks the atonement, celebrates “non serviam” and self-apotheosis, and lashes out at Christians who challenged her views or contacted her Christian friend.
While no one should harass or pressure others through DMs — that kind of coercion is wrong and counterproductive — LHGrey’s message goes far beyond personal defense. It is a direct, vulgar assault on the Gospel itself.
As Christians, we must be discerning
about the voices we listen to, platform, or quietly affirm. The Bible is clear about how we should respond to those who openly reject Christ and promote rebellion against Him.
“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”
(2 Corinthians 6:14)
“If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching [the doctrine of Christ], do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.”
(2 John 1:10-11)
We are called to love people and pray for them, but not to affirm, celebrate, or normalize open rejection of the faith.
LHGrey mocks the foundational truth
that “Jesus died for your sins” as gibberish and “toddler logic.” Yet the Bible declares:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:23)
“The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 6:23)
“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8)
This is not manipulation — it is the heart of the Gospel and the historical reality of the cross and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
She embraces a Luciferian spirit of radical autonomy and rebellion, echoing the original temptation: “You will be like God” (Genesis 3:5). This is the same pride that led Satan and a third of the angels into rebellion and fall (Isaiah 14:12-15; Revelation 12:4). Scripture cautions us:
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”
(Proverbs 14:12)
A life built on self-sovereignty apart from God is a house built on sand that will not stand (Matthew 7:24-27).
What should concern every believer
is how some Christians — particularly her friends — appear to support, defend, or remain silent about these attacks on the atonement, the lordship of Christ, and the truth of Scripture, while tolerating the vulgarity and open defiance.
This is not loving friendship. It fails to live up to the clear directions of Christ and the apostles. Jesus warned against false teaching and called people to repentance (Matthew 7:15-23; Mark 1:15). The apostles instructed the Church to guard sound doctrine and separate from those who openly oppose it (Titus 3:10-11; Galatians 1:8-9; Ephesians 5:11).
True love “speaks the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). It does not applaud rebellion against God or treat attacks on the cross as just another valid opinion. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn and live (Ezekiel 33:11). Warning people is an act of mercy.
Brothers and sisters
let us test every spirit and voice against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21; Acts 17:11). Christianity is not built on human perfection or cultural power — it is the power of God for salvation through the risen Christ (Romans 1:16).
“On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
(Matthew 16:18)
My encouragement to all of us:
Hold fast to the true Gospel. Love people enough to speak truth without compromise or unnecessary harshness. Pray for LHGrey and those like her — that their eyes would be opened to the beauty and freedom found in Christ.
“Repent and believe the gospel”
(Mark 1:15) is not a threat. It is the kindest invitation ever extended. God’s kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4).
Let us walk in humility, stand firm on the Word, and point people to the only Savior who can truly set them free.
