AOC 'Feels Sorry' for 'Oppressed' Red State Trump Supporters, Forgets NYC Is Democrat-Created Hot Mess
By Becky NobleDemocrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) — she makes it too easy for us. Just when you think she has no more buffoonery left to give, she does not disappoint. The best part is that she is convinced of how intelligent she sounds. On a recent episode of the "It's Open with Ilana Glazer" podcast, once again, AOC delivered. But wait, she says she has sympathy for Trump supporters.

AOC told podcast host Glazer that "red states" that supported Trump are clearly "oppressed" and "neglected." But New York City? Why it's a model of urban perfectionism. She went on to say that she feels "sorry" for MAGA voters. You might think that is a lot of personal growth for AOC, but no. The reason she feels sorry for MAGA voters is that they have come to their political views due to the horrible oppression and neglect that is running rampant in their states. It's certainly not because they actually believe those things. She explained:
"I don't care if you're a red state or voted for Trump. A lot of these red states, they're not red. They're oppressed. I've driven across the country many times, and I'll drive through really rural areas and I see the level of neglect, and I'm like, yeah, I'd be pissed off at paying taxes, too."
Sorry, Sandy. I'll take "Things That Never Happened" for $50. Unless you can produce a picture of yourself standing in front of the world's largest catsup bottle in Collinsville, Illinois, or something like it, no one believes you have driven across the country. She also blithely implies that MAGA or Trump supporters are just too dense to realize that they don't really believe all that stuff about America First. They are hopelessly blinded by their oppression and neglect.

She continued, saying that the high tax rate in New York City is "worth it" so that mass transit, "amazing" teachers, and sanitation services can all be funded. AOC was apparently so busy implying that MAGA supporters were stupid that she forgot about the $5.4 billion budget gap in the Big Apple, and that her comrade, Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is talking about taxing the infamous "1 percent," and cutting city services. But AOC wasn't done.
"When it snows out, I get to look out my window and I get to see well-paid sanitation workers clearing that stuff out in a minute. I get to walk out of my house and take the subway, which is publicly funded, and I say, ‘Yeah, this is worth it.’"
Another whopper. If AOC is riding the subway, it's with a security detail. And she also forgot about the huge snowstorm this year, where snow and garbage were not picked up or cleaned up. Then there was the 83-year-old Air Force vet who was pushed onto the subway tracks in March by an illegal immigrant her party welcomed into the country. She has a short memory for someone so young.
I just have one question for the Congresswoman. On May 16, 2025, an EF-3 tornado ripped through the northern portions of St. Louis City. It is an area that is a low to middle-income area of the city made up of largely African-American residents. Millions of dollars have gone to tornado cleanup and rebuilding, yet in some areas, it still looks like May 17, 2025. How can this be when the city has been run by Democrats for decades? Can AOC explain this? Or is it just that the City of St. Louis, which has not had a Republican mayor since 1949, is just too blinded by MAGA oppression and neglect?
If AOC drove anywhere in a red state, no doubt it was a blue area that Democrats destroyed.
Original HereHey @aoc, you say that no billionaires earned their money. Did @oprah & @Beyonce, both now billionaires thanks to American capitalism, earn their money or not? Look forward to hearing back from you! https://t.co/lYUK5y1ysI
