Priceless: The Moment a Little Kid 'Reporter' Asks Hakeem Jeffries the One Question He Has No Answer To

By Bob Hoge

Seeing the tough-talking but charisma-free House Minority Leader from New York, Democrat Hakeem Jeffries, acting like the macho man when threatening the free state of Florida: annoying.

Watching Jeffries demonize ICE and scheme with his buddy, Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), to withhold funding for the Department of Homeland Security for months on end: infuriating.

Witnessing a kid who is the offspring of a reporter from the far-left outlet CNN humiliate him with the most relevant question imaginable: priceless.

It all happened on Thursday, “Take Your Child to Work Day,” when lawmakers took questions from the children of reporters. Hakeem must have thought he was having a bad dream, because the question he received from the 10-year-old daughter of CNN’s Chief Congressional Correspondent, Manu Raju, was tougher than any he’s ever faced before from the hopelessly biased network:

"Why do voters view Democrats so poorly?" she asked.

Oh. My. God. I would have paid to be in attendance for the moment. We all know the answer to the query — Dems are viewed so poorly because they’re hell-bent on destroying the country with suicidal immigration policies, socialist fantasies, and identity politics — but to hear a kid giving him the fifth degree was just too beautiful to behold.

Jeffries: "Did your dad give you that question," Jeffries asks then blames distrust in American institutions and said Democrats need to "continue to convince" Americans they're "focused on making life better."

Arroyo: “Was there an answer in there? If you have children, the first lesson you teach them is answer truthfully when asked a question."

As you can probably tell, I am certainly no fan of Hakeem, but I have to give credit where credit’s due: he recovered pretty quickly.

Now we can return to criticizing him, though, because he instantly went back to word salad political speak where he went with the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris argument, “Yes, everything we do turns to bat guano, but you should like it because we’re so morally superior to everyone else.”

"I think that we exist in an era right now where the American people are understandably frustrated with institutions because far too many people in this country are struggling to live paycheck to paycheck," he said. [He neglected to mention that inflation topped out at 9.1 percent under Joe Biden.]

He continued with his desperate gaslighting effort:

They can’t thrive and can barely survive. And so there’s a frustration with Congress. There’s frustration with institutional political parties, whether that’s Democrats or Republicans. certainly a frustration with the courts, with organized religion, with the media, frustration with institutions of higher education and, of course, frustration with the current president of the United States of America.

There’s intense frustration because almost every blue area in the United States is on a downward trend — directly due to “progressive” Democrat policies, and all you want to do is bring more of the same. Sure, not everyone is a fan of the current president, but Trump didn’t destroy California — Democrat Gavin Newsom did that — he isn’t presiding over 9.1 percent inflation, he didn’t run a totalitarian COVID regime that destroyed lives, he didn’t purposefully let in tens of millions of unvetted illegal aliens into this country, and he didn’t make stoking race and gender wars the main goal of his presidency. Democrats did (and continue to do so), and oh so much more.

Hakeem:

"There’s a great frustration that applies to every organized institution in this country, and Democrats are not immune from that," he continued. "And we do have a responsibility to continue to convince the American people that, as a party, we’re actually focused on making their life better."

You can’t convince us of that, Jeffries, because every action you take and every statement you utter proves the opposite is true. That’s the reality; deal with it.

Even a ten-year-old knows.
