Stabbing Spree in United Kingdom, Pictures of Attacker Released
By BonchieAs the conflict against Iran continues to expand, with the United Kingdom recently green-lighting the use of its bases for offensive operations, a stabbing spree occurred in the city of Edinburgh.
According to reports, a man carrying two knives injured at least three people before barricading himself inside an apartment building. Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with the attacker unsuccessfully trying to enter a local school before being repelled.
One local who asked not to be named said: "We just got up this morning to go to the shop and the whole place was going crazy. Apparently people have been stabbed. The guy is inside a flat on the ninth floor and he keeps looking out the window. It's horrifying. Pictures of a guy with two knives have been shared on social media. It's shocking and the whole area is on lockdown with cops everywhere."
Abigail Clegg said the armed man had "tried to get into the school, the nursery" before he was chased away.
She said: "He (then) went into the shop. He ransacked the shop, the shop's a mess."
Pictures and video of the man have been released, first showing him walking on the street with the two knives and later smiling from a window, seemingly mocking authorities.

It's not confirmed at the time of this writing whether the attacker has been apprehended or if he's still inside the aforementioned apartment. Some are claiming the attacker is a Muslim migrant. RedState hasn't been able to verify that yet, though it's fair to say that's possible given his appearance.
In an astonishing move, before it was even clear the attack was over, the Scottish police released a statement proclaiming "this incident is not being treated as an act of terror." How they could possibly know that with certainty so soon is beyond comprehension. While it's likely this man is mentally deranged in some way, that doesn't mean he wasn't motivated by current events in the Middle East.
Western nations are going to have to start taking these threats seriously, and the United Kingdom's long-running appeasement strategy of papering over these incidents hasn't shown itself to be effective.
This is a developing story.
