Georgia's Attorney General Takes on Fani Willis

Image
By Chris Queen After the Georgia Court of Appeals  disqualified  Fulton County, Ga., District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting her grandstanding Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) case against Donald Trump, she is appealing the decision to the Georgia Supreme Court. One state official is publicly calling out this decision. Attorney General Chris Carr, a Republican,  took to X  to criticize Willis’ appeal. He also urged the state’s highest court to refuse to take her appeal. Please see my statement below on Fulton County DA Fani Willis. pic.twitter.com/2ATSw3t10V — GA AG Chris Carr (@Georgia_AG) December 30, 2024 “The Georgia Court of Appeals has ruled that the Fulton County DA created her own conflict and rightfully removed her from the case against President-elect Trump,” Carr posted. "‘Lawfare’ has become far too common in American politics, and it must end.” “As such, I would encourage the Georgia Supreme Court to not take her app...

Even in Defeat, Carter Never Stopped Making an Impact

Image
By Tevi Troy Jimmy Carter, America’s oldest ex-president, has died at 100. Carter was known around the world not just for his one term as president, but for his four decades as a globe-trotting ex-president. His achievements in his one White House term aren’t remembered well, overshadowed by his setbacks, the resulting loss of support of the American people, and the rise of Ronald Reagan, who won 44 states in defeating Carter for the presidency in 1980. Carter made a formidable candidate in his first run for the presidency. He was a Naval Academy graduate, with an engineering degree, service in the fledgling nuclear submarine program, and a broad and iconic smile. While never known for his sense of humor, he did manage to get some laughs on the campaign trail in 1976 with two oft-repeated lines. One was about his political goal to overcome the handicap of not being a lawyer. The second played off of Betty Ford’s comment regarding the possibility of the Ford’s adult daughter havin...

Paramount Series 'Landman' Surprises With Conservative Anti-Climate Agenda Message

Image
By Tyler Durden It's been a long time since conservatives were treated like the "good guys" by Hollywood, largely because ESG initiatives and the over-representation of social justice cultism on social media convinced production companies that it was more lucrative to go woke.  However, this assumption turned out to be a massive error in calculation as "Get Woke, Go Broke" became the mantra that ultimately toppled the media industry and the Democratic Party. Today, the majority of entertainment companies are struggling with failure after failure; most of their projects lose vast sums of money and producers have been unable to squeeze any blood from the classic franchises they used to rely on.  When corporations like Disney are actually losing money on Star Wars and Marvel, you know that audience boycotts are becoming effective.   Well, it appears that someone in Tinsel Town is finally listening.  Paramount, another company known for a steady stream of woke d...

DC Scrambles To Remove 'City Ads' Calling Trump Supporters 'Trash'

Image
By Tyler Durden Washington D.C. is scrambling to remove several advertisements which refer to Trump supporters as "trash." The ad, which features a depiction of a MAGA hat wearer holding a 'project 2025' book and a caption that reads: "Keep DC trash free," has sparked significant backlash and prompted quick action from city officials. This is Washington, D.C., where posters calling President Trump and MAGA supporters "trash" are plastered across the district — with the D.C. government's logo at the bottom. @MayorBowser denies involvement, but you have to wonder... pic.twitter.com/WugDbSUbNd — Jake Schneider (@jacobkschneider) December 29, 2024 The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) was quick to distance itself from the contentious ad . "This image was not created, funded, or authorized by the DC government, and  our teams are currently working to remove them ," DDOT DC stated on X in response to a post by Caleb Morell...

North Korea Pledges To Introduce ‘Toughest’ Anti-U.S. Policy Ahead Of Trump’s Inauguration

Image
By Blake Wolf North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un vowed to enact the “toughest” policies against the United States, with less than a month before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. Kim’s comments came during a five day meeting with the Workers’ Party of Korea, where party leaders slammed the United States’ alliance with Japan and South Korea as a “nuclear military bloc for aggression.” “This reality clearly shows to which direction we should advance and what we should do and how,” the party stated, referring to the Western alliance.   Kim stated that the United States is “the most reactionary state that regards anti-communism as its invariable state policy.” The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) covered the meeting, stating that the party “clarified the strategy for the toughest anti-U.S. counteraction to be launched aggressively,” by North Korea, without elaborating on specific policies to go along with the anti-American agenda. Trump was able to establish relat...

Friends Won't Let Democrats Gaslight Friends in 2025

SEE YA! Kamala Harris concludes her concession speech Nov. 6 in Washington, D.C. By Nicole Russell It's that time of the year, so I'll jump on the bandwagon for end-of-year-lists. Person of the year? Donald Trump. Surprise of the year? The presidential election. Idea of the year? Conservatism. Worst party of the year? The Democratic Party. And it's not particularly close. I can't welcome 2025 without remembering just how much Democratic leaders repeatedly lied, without remorse, to the American people in 2024. Democrats chose to manipulate Americans with a specific type of deceit: Make voters doubt reality. From inflation to President Joe Biden's health and Vice President Kamala Harris' competence as a presidential candidate, Democrats tried to lie their way to the White House. They failed, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten. Democrats' view of the economy was a lie The economy tanked for tens of millions of working-class Americans u...

A Way-Too-Early Forecast for Snow in the South Is Going Viral

Image
By Chris Queen For some reason, some people here in the South are fascinated with snow. I'm not one of them. I guess it’s because we don’t get it that often, but I don’t understand why people wish for it so much. One weather forecasting computer model has people in a major tizzy over the possibility of snow in Georgia and Florida. Check out this post on the Instagram account GaFollowersOfficial: View this post on Instagram A post shared by GAFOLLOWERS 🍑 (@gafollowersofficial) And then there’s this even more implausible Facebook post from the Disney clickbait site Streaming the Magic: People are losing their minds over the possibility of snow in a couple of weeks. Some people are holding onto hope despite having those hopes dashed too many times in the past. via GIPHY The forecast of frigid weather is pretty much the consensus for the middle of January 2025 in Georgia, and I presume it’ll be colder than normal in Florida as well. The problem with all of th...

Obama and Biden Just Achieved the Impossible

Image
By Stephen Green For the first time since FDR and the Great Depression, voters who identify as Republicans outnumber Democrats by a significant margin, according to data released this week by Gallup. Not just Gallup, either. Political analyst  Patrick Ruffini  noted Monday, "After the exit polls were reweighted to reflect the final popular vote result, Republicans outnumbered Democrats by 5 points in the AP VoteCast survey and by 4 points in the network exit polls." Tonight we're gonna party like it's 1928. So what changed? In the last 16 years, we've had 12 years of hard-left Democrat presidents who got everything they wanted, legislatively, in their first two years and then took advantage of "the ratchet effect" to lock in their gains. Now we have more self-ID'd Republicans than Democrats for the first time in almost a century. I submit that these two items are not unrelated.  And Another Thing:  I'd also add that Democrats have grown addic...

Scott Jennings and Other Americans Have Thoughts When Tim Walz and Wife Post About a Box

Image
By Ward Clark Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) and his wife, Gwen, had a lot of people talking about a video that they posted on X on Sunday.  You know if it involves those two, it's going to be a little weird.  Tim Walz posted it, writing, "Set those resolutions now, people." It was about their difficulty in throwing out a box.  Tim Walz is such a nerd. He made a video on throwing away a box as a New Year's resolution. Imagine him being second in line pic.twitter.com/imT9UiI147 — Sara Rose 🇺🇸🌹 (@saras76) December 29, 2024 Tim said it was tough to throw out the box as "Gen Xers" and "late boomers" (she's 59 and he's 60).  Here's a thought: You can throw out a box without making a video about it.  I think the purpose of the video was to seem relatable. But as with much of what Walz did during the campaign, it came off to many as weird or awkward — a little bit like Elizabeth Warren and the beer video. Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren ma...

Democrats Finally Acknowledge the Massive Failures of the Biden Admin, and the Reason Is Delicious

Image
By Bonchie With Joe Biden headed out of the White House for good in a few weeks, we are finally starting to see some rumblings about just how terrible his presidency was. While sites like RedState have been talking about the litany of failures for years, the mainstream press had to wait until after the election before it was safe to acknowledge them.  Enter  Politico , which released a report detailing some of the programs that crashed and burned, leaving Democrats without much to run on during the 2024 election. The irony, though, is the reason  why  they crashed and burned.  Joe Biden spent the first half of his presidency enacting plans to steer at least $1.6 trillion to transform the economy and spur a clean-energy revolution — only to watch those programs become afterthoughts in the 2024 election. Now the core of his domestic legacy stands unfinished, with hundreds of billions of dollars left to deploy, and imperiled as Donald Trump prepares to take off...
