Harry and Meghan Demand Spotify Cancels Free Speech And Shuts Down Anyone Spreading ‘Misinformation’ About COVID Vaccines

Image
Skip to Comments By NewsLinker Super woke Hollywood couple Harry and Meghan have thrown another tantrum, this time over streaming service Spotify’s apparently unacceptable spreading of what they deem “Covid-19 misinformation’’. The pair famous for their love of privacy have a $24 million production deal with Spotify and have joined other celebrities including music legends Neil Young and Joni Mitchell to voice their “ concerns ” about “ dangerous ” and “ perceptive  content” on the platform. A statement from the couple’s charity Archewell was shared online by journalist Omid Scobie this weekend: ‘Last April, our co-founders began expressing concerns to our partners at Spotify about the all too real consequences of Covid-19 misinformation on its platform. ‘We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify to ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health  crisis .’ The row began over the alleged spreading of Covid vaccine misinformati...

Troops at These Bases Are on Alert for Deployment over Ukraine Crisis

Image
Skip to Comments By Travis Tritten The 8,500 U.S. troops put on heightened alert earlier this week for a potential deployment to Europe if Russia invades Ukraine would come from 10 domestic military bases, the Pentagon said Thursday. The ready force includes members of the 82nd Airborne Division and 18th Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg , North Carolina, and troops with the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell , Kentucky. The alert order also included units at bases in Arizona, Texas, Washington state, Louisiana, Georgia and Ohio. "These units, all told, include medical support, aviation support, logistics support and, of course, combat formations," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said during a briefing with reporters. The bulk of the troops could be called up as part of the NATO Response Force -- a multinational land, air, maritime and special operations force of 40,000 that could be activated by the alliance. For now, no deployment has been ordered, and the U.S...

Boom or Bust — Is It Red or Is It Blue?

Image
By Robin Smith Any economic boom in recent months has been thanks largely to Republican-run states. When a political novice named Donald Trump governed using conservative principles, history was made in wage growth across all genders and races. Low unemployment, manufacturing, and endless opportunities returned to the U.S. with an economic expansion that benefited more Americans, reminiscent of Ronald Reagan. Now every economic boom is heralded as great news for the Biden-Harris administration, when in truth the progress is occurring in Republican-led states. News stories report the fastest recovery and most robust GDP with Joe Biden, but Biden’s policy has been to flood the economy with government money, triggering historic inflation — a universal tax that redistributes wealth. The robust recovery actually comes from Republican-led states, where we find the 10 lowest unemployment rates: Nebraska (1.7%), Utah (1.9%), Oklahoma (2.3%), Idaho (2.4%), Montana (2.5%), Vermont (2.5%), Georgi...

North Korea Makes Biggest Move Since 2017 as Biden Focuses on China and Russia

Skip to Comments By Jack Davis South Korean President Moon Jae-in called an emergency National Security Council meeting and called the missile a “midrange ballistic missile launch,” NBC reported The United States Indo-Pacific Command condemned the launch in a statement and called upon North Korea to “refrain from further destabilizing acts.” “While we have assessed that this event does not pose an immediate threat to U.S. personnel, territory, or that of our allies, we will continue to monitor the situation,” the statement said. Is this a signal that Kim is serious about ending his self-imposed moratorium on ICBM and Nuke testing? If so, what then? North Korea fires its longest-range missile since 2017, the latest in a string of test launches https://t.co/pQwlMUWEhF — Robert Manning (@Rmanning4) January 30, 2022 “When you assess the series of missile launches, you can deduce what (North Korea) seems to be saying,” said Yang Uk, a North Korea and military affairs expert...

Schumer calls for $1.5 billion gun task force

Image
By Tom Knighton Sen Chuck Schumer has never remotely tried to pass himself off as a supporter of the Second Amendment. In fact, I’m not even sure he’s familiar with the fact we have a constitution at all. He may have mentioned it a time or two, but I’ve never really seen much evidence that he actually knows definitively what’s in it or even that it’s anything more than a figure of speech. No, Schumer is an opponent of gun rights. As an opinion of the right to keep and bear arms, though, I don’t suppose anyone should  be surprised that he’s called for this : Sen. Chuck Schumer on Sunday pushed the federal government to give New York at least $1.5 billion to help  get illegal guns off the streets . The Democrat Senate majority leader said the new Interstate Task Force on Illegal Guns, spearheaded by Gov. Kathy Hochul, will only work if the feds and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has the resources to “choke off crime.” “The ABCs of beating back the scourge of gun vio...
