Gog of Magog: Who Is The Russian Leader At The Center Of The Ezekiel 38 Prophecy?

Image
By Mark Hitchcock Ezekiel 38—39 contains one of the greatest prophecies in the Bible. It describes a massive invasion of Israel in the last days by a colossal confederation of nations. Today’s events in the Middle East, though not direct fulfillments of Ezekiel’s prophecies, strikingly foreshadow them; and a survey of Ezekiel 38 in its context reveals that the events Ezekiel described may be on the horizon. The Context The Jewish prophet Ezekiel prophesied from 593 to 570 BC, during the time of the Babylonian invasions of Judah, as well as the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 586 BC. The book of Ezekiel divides into three main sections: Chapters 1—24:  Retribution on Judah at the hands of Babylon Chapters 25—32:  Ruin of Judah’s nearby neighbors Chapters 33—48:  Restoration of Israel and Judah Ezekiel 38—39 falls into the restoration section immediately after the prophecy of Israel’s regathering to its ancient homeland in the end-t...

Woman, 18, Cancels First Date at Last Minute by Calling 911, Saying Man is Abusive Ex-boyfriend Threatening to Stab Her: Police

Image
By PAUL SACCA An Iowa woman  reportedly got "cold feet" before a first date with a man who she had met on a dating app. Instead of simply canceling the date, the woman allegedly called 911 to falsely accuse the man of being her abusive ex-boyfriend who threatened to stab her, according to police. Just after midnight on June 16, a 911 call was made to authorities in North Liberty, Iowa. A woman told the 911 operator that an abusive ex-boyfriend was at her home and threatening her. "She reported him threatening to cause harm to her," court documents read. The woman claimed that the man was the father of her unborn baby and he was sending her threatening messages that "he was going to hit, punch, kick, and stab her," according to the affidavit obtained by  Law&Crime . Police responded to the residence, confronted a man leaving the home, and began an "in-depth investigation." However, the man explained that he had never met the w...

Poll: 66% of Israelis Do Not Want Benjamin Netanyahu in Next Elections

Image
By i24 News A recent poll conducted by Channel 12 has revealed significant sentiments among Israeli voters regarding the country’s political landscape, with a majority expressing opposition to Benjamin Netanyahu’s continued presence in future elections. According to the survey, approximately 66% of respondents indicated they do not want Netanyahu to participate in upcoming political contests, reflecting a widespread desire for change within Israeli politics. The sentiment against Netanyahu is particularly pronounced outside his traditional right-wing, religious bloc, where only 37% share a similar view. Among supporters within this bloc, 53% are in favor of Netanyahu continuing his political career. In terms of potential leadership for a right-wing electoral alliance, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett emerged as the frontrunner, capturing 30% of voter support. Avigdor Liberman, leader of the Yisrael Beytenu party, and former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen followed with 10...

Bill Gates Is Investing "Billions" In The New Wave Of Nuclear Power

Image
By TYLER DURDEN It isn't often Bill "Mr. I Know What's Best For The Entire World" Gates comes up with an idea that we aren't immediately skeptical of, but his recent pledge to promote next generation nuclear power sounds to us to be a common sense solution to multiple problems we'll be facing in coming years.  Gates is pledging billions of dollars to promote nuclear through startup TerraPower LLC,  OilPrice.com wrote this week . And it looks like that number could grow.  Gates recently told Bloomberg: "I put in over a billion, and I’ll put in billions more." OilPrice.com notes that nuclear power is gaining global traction as a key player in decarbonization strategies. In addition to TerraPower, companies like Sam Altman-led Oklo are also focused on modernizing nuclear with small modular reactors.  Advocates emphasize its immense clean energy potential, proven technology, and existing infrastructure. Although not renewable, nuclear ene...

African Farmer Attacked by BBC for “Denial of Man-made Climate Change”

Image
By James Murphy Kenyan farmer Jusper Machogu is exactly the type of person the climate cult likes to exploit: a small-scale farmer in Africa. Climate zealots like to proclaim that those in the Third World are uniquely at risk from the scourge of man-made climate change, and that we in the West must end our reliance on fossil fuels so that farmers like Machogu can continue to exist. So, what do climate alarmists do when one of those they claim are most at risk from climate change not only ignores them, but actively  advocates  for his poor nation to have easy access to fossil fuels and the modern conveniences that we take for granted? They can’t help themselves — they and their willing accomplices in mainstream media must destroy him. New cartoon! #FossilFuelsForAfrica An idea for a cartoon from @JusperMachogu - happy to help! Judge Denies Alec Baldwin Motion to Dismiss Manslaughter Charge in ‘Rust’ Shooting

Image
By Aldgra Fredly A New Mexico judge on June 28 denied actor Alec Baldwin’s request to dismiss an involuntary manslaughter charge against him relating to the 2021 fatal shooting of a cinematographer on the set of his film “Rust.” Previously, Mr. Baldwin’s lawyers requested that the court dismiss the charge, arguing that the firearm involved in the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was damaged during FBI forensic testing before defense attorneys could examine it. Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer rejected the arguments, stating that Mr. Baldwin’s lawyers failed to establish that the firearm had “an exculpatory value that was apparent before the evidence was destroyed.” “Rather, a significant amount of evidence indicates that the unaltered firearm did not possess apparent exculpatory value,” she stated in an 18-page ruling . The judge referenced Mr. Baldwin’s statements to a New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau officer on Dec. 8, 2021, in which he claim...

Trump-aligned Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò Facing Persecution By Vatican For Upholding Truth In The Face Of Great Confusion Under The Pontificate Of Francis

Image
By Paul Ingrassia His Excellency, The Most Reverend Carlo Maria Viganò, Archbishop of Ulpiana, has been summoned into Rome by Vatican officials to face an extrajudicial hearing – what is in effect a trial – tomorrow for accusations of schism from the church of Pope Francis.  The charges are grave: the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith has accused the Archbishop for having denied the legitimacy of Pope Francis, a rupture of communion with the current pontiff’s church, and for rejecting the Second Vatican Council – the ecumenical council that took place in the early 1960s which modernized (critics would contend irremediably transform) the liturgy and sacraments to the point of almost creating an entirely new church. For his part, the Archbishop denies that he is a schismatic.  In his view, the church presided over by Pope Francis represents the culmination of decades of errors which have their roots in the Second Vatican Council.  In a recent  ...

NY Firefighters Are Banned from Political Expression at Work

Image
By M DOWLING New York City has taken away firefighters’ right to voice their opinions about politics at work. Since firefighters tend to support Donald Trump, many suspect this is intended to silence Trump supporters. Their horrible commissioner, Laura Kavanaugh, passed the new rule. Kavanaugh’s career began under Barack Obama and other Democrats. “The department reminds all members during this time of heightened political debate, particularly in the lead-up to the November 2024 elections, to be mindful of engaging in conduct that creates division within our workplace,” says the internal order reviewed by The Post. “The workplace is generally not the appropriate place for political expression.” The order did not define “political expression,” and FDNY officials refused to describe the policy’s parameters. It was only March when the same commissioner hunted down firefighters who dared boo the vicious partisan attorney general Leticia James. Only Democrats have the right ...

Beware of Trojan Horse Censorship Bill Disguised as Big Tech ‘Child Safety’ Regulation

Image
By revolver.news President Reagan once quipped that the nine most terrifying words in the English language are “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.” Perhaps the only way to make that sentence scarier is to add the two words “your children.” Indeed, other than the time-honored pretext of “national security,” perhaps no other phrase has been so viciously exploited to serve aims diametrically contrary to its professed aims than that of “child safety.” The troubling  bill  titled “Kids Online Safety Act” (KOSA), sponsored by Marsha Blackburn (R-CN) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), is no exception. So what is KOSA, and why is it dangerous? KOSA is a bill that, according to the Washington Post, would “impose sweeping new obligations on an array of digital platforms” that would include “exercising reasonable care” to prevent their products from endangering kids with “bullying, harassment, and other harms.”  According to the New York Times , this “duty of c...
