Mysterious, Unexplained Red Meat Allergies Reportedly Explode in Virginia

Image
By Ben Bartee I have reported previously at PJ Media that the CDC has been warning lately of an unexplained rise in what was previously a rare red meat allergy called alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) that develops in humans by way of a molecule passed into the bloodstream by a species of tick called the Lone Star Tick. Via  CDC  (emphasis added): During January 1, 2017–December 31, 2022, a total of 357,119 tests were submitted from residences in the United States, corresponding to 295,400 persons. Overall, 90,018 (30.5%) persons received a positive test result in the study period, and  the number of persons with positive test results increased from 13,371 in 2017 to 18,885 in 2021 . Among 233,521 persons for whom geographic data were available, suspected cases predominantly occurred in counties within the southern, midwestern, and mid-Atlantic U.S. Census Bureau regions. These data highlight the evolving emergence of AGS and can be used to help state and local health agencies...

Opinion: Here’s the reason people tell me they want to buy an AR-15. And it’s simply ludicrous

Image
By Michael Fanone No weapon has been more in the public eye in America of late than the  AR-15 , in large part because of its tragic role in some of this country’s  deadliest shootings . The AR-15 has the dubious distinction of being America’s  most popular semi-automatic rifle . I’m more familiar with the gun than most people: I own one. And one thing I know for sure is that this weapon doesn’t belong in the hands of the average civilian. I’ve owned multiple firearms for most of my life. I spent two decades in the Washington Metropolitan Police Department in a number of different roles, as a street cop walking the beat and on various special mission units. I’m also a card-carrying member of the National Rifle Association. And when I wasn’t at my job doing police work, I worked part-time for several years in firearm sales as well as training law enforcement officers, members of the military and civilians. I purchased my different guns over the years for the same reaso...

Why the Long Face: Woke University Cancels Robert E. Lee's Horse

Image
By Alex Parker We're living in a time of immense evolution. Women possess penises; men's thighs meet at their vaginas. And as for the number of legs on American outcasts, the total can run as high as four. Example: the cancellation of a beloved and behooved soldier to whom the Great Transformation has now said, "Nay." In case you're unfamiliar with equine icon  Traveller , he was to  General Robert E. Lee  what Silver was to The Lone Ranger. The famed horse served Lee during the Civil War and beyond. And previously, a college honored the animal with a praise-packed pair of plaques. However, 2020's riots sent a revisionist wave across the country. BREAKING: O’Keefe Media Group: Police Bodycam Footage Shows NJ School Board Officals Calling Police on Citizens Who Look “Trumpish” (VIDEO)

Image
By Cristina Laila O’Keefe Media Group on Wednesday released 20 minutes of police bodycam footage showing New Jersey school board officials calling the police on citizens they don’t recognize who look “Trumpish.” “The police colluded with school officials to scan license plates of school board meeting attendees who looked different,” James O’Keefe said. OMG obtained the recordings through FOIA requests. This is the first in a series of police body cam recordings, James O’Keefe said. Here’s what the school board officials and police really think of ‘Trumpish’ people when they forget the cameras are rolling. On August 8, Livingston school board officials called the police on citizens because they didn’t recognize them. “They’re different looking. Um, they look Trumpish. They look a little scary,” Toni McLaughlin, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent told the police officer. McLaughlin and the police officer compared journalists with O’Keefe Media Group to Antifa. James O’Keefe co...

YouTube Demonetizes Channel Over Video of Democrats Challenging Election Results

Image
By Mike LaChance YouTube has demonitized a channel over a video for the crime of making Democrats look like raging hypocrites. A journalist named Matt Orfalea, who works with Matt Taibbi, created the video which intersperses clips of Trump questioning election results with Democrats doing the exact same thing. Someone at YouTube clearly thought this was a problem and yanked the monetization for the entire channel. YouTube has just demonetized my entire channel for “violent criminal organization”!!! WTF  @TeamYouTube   pic.twitter.com/xINx0nI5rl — Matt Orfalea (@0rf)  July 6, 2021 Matt Taibbi wrote about it at  Substack: YouTube Hits Orf Again, as Censorship Grows Silent But Deadly When you know you’re being censored, you can protest. But what to do about silent editorial punishment, dished without announcement, by tech platforms that appear to be learning fast how to avoid public outcry? A year ago, this site had to throw a public fit to resolve a p...

Garland DOJ Tells Jim Jordan It Will Not Cooperate with Hunter-Related Subpoenas

Image
By Cristina Laila Merrick Garland’s DOJ told House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan that his subpoenas for two FBI agents involved in the investigation into Hunter Biden cannot be enforced due to an ongoing investigation. Last week House Republicans subpoenaed FBI special agents Thomas Sobocinski and Ryeshia Holley to compel testimony on political interference and preferential treatment in the Hunter Biden investigation. Garland’s DOJ said the subpoenas couldn’t be enforced because Congressman Jim Jordan barred DOJ lawyers at their depositions. “The subpoenas issued by the Committee prohibit the attendance of agency counsel at appearances by two FBI employees where the Committee has indicated it will ask questions regarding information they learned within the scope of their official duties, including regarding the ongoing criminal investigation,” Carlos Uriarte, DOJ assistant attorney general wrote. “These subpoenas lack legal effect and cannot constitutionally be en...

Donald Trump Defiantly Declares ‘WE WILL NOT COMPLY’ in Response to Efforts to Reinstate COVID Lockdowns and Mask and Vaccine Mandates

Image
By Jim Hᴏft Former President Donald Trump released a fiery video statement, vehemently opposing attempts to reinstate COVID-19 restrictions, including lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates. Trump’s comments come amidst increased concerns over new variants of COVID-19 in an attempt to manipulate the upcoming 2024 presidential election. In the video posted on Truth Social, Trump argued that the “left-wing lunatics” are employing scare tactics again about new COVID-19 variants to set the stage for renewed restrictions. He said that the real motive behind this is to influence the upcoming 2024 election through what he describes as an attempt to “restart the COVID hysteria.” Below is the transcript: The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming. Gee whiz, you know what else is coming? An election. They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they ca...

NEW: The Gadsden Flag Kid Just Secured Total Victory

Image
By Bonchie On Monday, the story of a Colorado child being booted from school for having a Gadsden Flag patch on his backpack went viral. As RedState  reported , school officials claimed the flag was prohibited because it had its "origins in slavery." Twelve-year-old Jaiden, who attends  The Vanguard School  in Colorado Springs, found himself in trouble with his teachers after he wore a backpack that featured a patch of the Gadsden flag. He was kicked out of class and his mother was called into the office to discuss the wrong Jaiden had done.  According to one of the school staff, the famous flag wasn't allowed in the school due to its "origins in slavery and the slave trade." A revelation that clearly amused Jaiden who clearly knows more about his nation's history than his own school.  The mother of the young boy, who is named Jaiden, filmed the meeting she had with the director of the school. In it, you can hear her push back on the idea that t...
