But it was unclear after 90 minutes of oral argument exactly how the court would deal with  the issue  given that the Census Bureau concedes that it has no idea yet how many people would be excluded or when it will have the answer. The justices appeared to be reluctant to act immediately to block the plan. "Career experts at the Census Bureau confirmed with me that they still don't know even roughly how many illegal aliens they will be able to identify, let alone how their number and geographic concentration may affect apportionment," said acting Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall, the government's chief lawyer. Word went out that Georgia officials were wiping Dominion voting machines in Fulton County, ostensibly to prepare them for the run-off election, which is more than a month away.  In  Coreco Ja'qan Pearson, et al. v.   Even as some Democrats followed Joe Biden’s call to ‘put away the harsh rhetoric’ and praised Melania Trump’s Christmas decorations at the White House, the party’s keyboard warriors on Twitter apparently didn’t get the memo. “This is beautifully decorated and can be appreciated if we don’t allow our politics to dilute [sic] everything,”  Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) said Monday, retweeting the first lady's two-minute video showing the White House decorated for the upcoming holiday. It was an interesting turn for Omar, an outspoken progressive activist who’s accused President Donald Trump of racism.
